T-Ball Bat Size Calculator
Answer two questions and get a specific bat recommendation for your player's age and size — with length, drop weight, and where to buy.
The most important rule
The best tee-ball bat is the lightest one your player can swing with mechanics intact. If their form breaks down, the bat is too heavy — go lighter before you go more expensive.
Sizing shortcut
Stand the bat next to your player. The barrel should reach roughly mid-hip. Ages 3–5 typically use 24 inches. Ages 6–7 typically use 25–26 inches.
Composite vs alloy
Alloy bats are game-ready immediately, more durable, and cost less. Composite bats offer more pop and a bigger barrel feel — worth it for 6–7 year olds who are confident hitters.
Check your league first
Certified tee-ball bats are for use with approved tee balls only. Always verify your league's ball requirements before buying — using the wrong bat can get your player called out.
